Both U14 and U16 Boys Capture League MSL Titles, Qualifier to Provincials

On February 23rd the U14 (pictured) Boys, captured the 2012-2013 League Title with a 2-0 win over Coquitlam Metro Ford.  Alan Camacho-Soto, the team’s top scorer, had the winning goal.  Goalkeeper Aleksandar Kalajdzic recorded his 10th shutout of the season and had a league leading 8 goals against all season, which is also a tribute to fantastic team defense.  This is the second league championship in 2 years for this team and the closest one yet, beating Surrey CCB Pegasus by one point. The reigning Provincial Cup champions will have the opportunity to defend that title later this year, as the league championship title earned them a qualifier to the A Cup tournament.
